My red curtains (seen here and here) were starting to make me twitch. I like red, but I got tired of these fast. I'm really trying to mix it up and not be so rigid with my color pallete in my home, but I like what I like... and I like green. :)I did this about a month ago, and it makes our dining space feel cleaner and fresh, just in time for spring!

I am a green lover as well, where did you get those? I am also in the process of replacing my red curtains I found some cute stripped ones I like at JC Penney.
That does really brighten things up. I want to take the vertical blinds off of our glass doors too and need to find some panels that I like.

The curtains are just the linen ones from Ikea! I love them, because they come super long and you just use the hem tape to make them the length you need. We have 9 foot cielings or higher everywhere upstairs and I've had to DIY every single curtain, I went to Designer Fabrics in Draper (they're going out of business and everything is 75% off!) and found a green that was "kind of close" to what I wanted... on a whim I drove over to Ikea and there they where! It saved me a lot of time, and the color was closer to what I had pictured anyway!
