Welcome to my little project blog!
I started this blog because I have a million ideas swimming around in my head and I need a place to put them all! I love decorating, remodeling and improving my home, and I thought it would be fun to document and share some of our projects and maybe inspire some of you out there with ideas of your own.
The Hubbs and I have earned the reputation for being a little Nomadic. In our five years of marriage we've owned three homes. We recently bought a home in what we think of as "the country"... our dream area. With a great park and school and church close by... we are so happy with our new area. I can see us here for a very long time. The house is newer, it just needs some character... and we are excited to get to work. We have learned a lot with each home we've lived in. We are house crazy people. We like looking at a home and seeing it's potential and then changing it to fit our family. I'm sure I'll share blasts from the past from our previous homes and projects here as well. I firmly believe that a house doesn't have to be perfect to be a beautiful home, and you can make your house your dream home over time by making some simple (and some not so simple!) improvements.
I love the thrill of the hunt. I'm always on the lookout for fabulous finds and great vintage and antique items. I would go furniture shopping/hunting over clothes shopping any day of the week, and I get so excited when I find just the right thing. I'll share with you some of my favorite stores, from little boutiques to how to find those designer items you just love for cheap. Most of my improvements and projects will be for the budget conscious decorator, and I'll share tips that I hope will save you money the way we've learned to do it.
Thanks for joining me on my journey from house to home!
So excited for your new blog!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I keep thinking about doing a blog but am afraid I will run out of things to write about. I do know the subject, SIMPLICITY. I will be anxious to stay in touch and see how things go for you. Good Luck! Good Job!
